A moment together

Harmonious silence

A moment together

Two spirits as lone

The waft of cool air

Radiance of the sun our ambiance

Harmony is our synchronism

Presence, touch, I am there

Such contentment, so tranquil

A moment together

A tribute to my 36 year old Miniature Horse, Nugget. These were the last wonderful moments we spent together.  I will miss the sound of her whinny when she heard me approach the barn.  I will miss her stubborn resistance as much as her trust as I wrapped my arm around her head toI lead her around.  Such trust she had in me, and such love I felt for her.  Good-bye!

I am a mother of 16 children and grandchildren. Some of them are by blood and the rest by heart. I was a foster mom for a few years and the children I cared for during that time have mostly stayed with me through the years. I love to write, read, dance, paint, and play with my animals. I enjoy dressage riding and just being in the barn. My words are my gift, as they allow you to know me as I really am. Thanks for joining me on this ride of life!
