I am not Buddhist -nor do I ever intend to embrace this belief as anything other than a unity with myself -by the words of a mortal man.  However, the words he spoke were wise -and thoughtful.  Two qualities -I admire!

“Your work is to discover your world and then with all your heart give yourself to it.” Buddha

I really believe that Buddha must have studied under Christ -because Buddha frequently used phrases by Christ -in his own way.  Ephesians 6:5-6 Christ tells us to obey our masters with a sincere heart, doing the will of God, from the heart.

My word for 2016 is: Discovery.  The reason I chose this word is because I believe that we each have a journey -and what purpose is our life, if we fail to complete our journey -through discovery?

Each step we take -let it be with purity of the heart, believing it is our cross to bear, our road to walk, our path to embrace.  If another harms us, we must understand that, their sickness can only enter our world, if we hold onto the sickness -allowing it to fester inside our souls.

I will walk this path, and discover the secrets of my life -with confidence that I cannot fail, I think…only falter.

I am a mother of 16 children and grandchildren. Some of them are by blood and the rest by heart. I was a foster mom for a few years and the children I cared for during that time have mostly stayed with me through the years. I love to write, read, dance, paint, and play with my animals. I enjoy dressage riding and just being in the barn. My words are my gift, as they allow you to know me as I really am. Thanks for joining me on this ride of life!
