Foreign Drama – Fated To Love You

Fated To Love You 20 episodes 2014 Hulu; Viki and Drama Fever First off let me ask this question -How can Choi Jin Hyuk get overlooked for the lead? Okay, with that I will say Jang Hyuk is a great actor and did a tremendous job.  That is probably why the guy has made so many dramas and films.  However, for me, this is my first time to notice him.  15 movies and 20 dramas.  This boy has been busy.  At 177 cm, Jang Hyuk comes across as a man much taller and he is very dynamic when he wants to be.  The rest of the time he was goofy.  Nobody has ever annoyed me this much while laughing that horrid laugh -and made me love watching them at the same time.  Honestly, if he hadn’t had me at “snail” I would have dumped this drama. Apparently, Jang Hyuk was in Producers for a cameo -but he didn’t catch my eye -however, I do remember him. Jang Na Ra is as cute as a bugs ear -seriously!  This …

MONSTER MOTHER -That’s Me!

There are days a mother can smile and know her children’s day has been made easier because you are their mommy. Then, much to your dismay -you are forced into MONSTER MOTHER! That was me, this morning.  Yep, I am not my daughters favorite parent -and this morning is a prime example of why.  I refused to take her to school  Not only did I not take her to school -I wouldn’t let her go to school I know, I know -most kids would consider this a blessing but not my child.  Why, you ask?  Why would I deny her the privilege of school -especially when it is mandatory?  You see, today was a field trip, doing something my child really wanted to do -a gun range. Now before you get to upset with me -hear me out.  I signed the form letting her go on this field trip and I would have been more than happy for her to go with the other kids and shoot a gun.  My dad was a sharp shooter …

Foreign Drama -Come Back Mister

Come Back Mister 16 episodes 2016 Drama Fever Bi Rain (Jung Ji-Hoon (정지훈) is a beautiful man and an amazing actor.  The way he sucks you into his drama, and overwhelms your senses with his great body and good lucks is a joy.  I never get bored of seeing him on screen. How can a woman resist? Now, lets pull our eyeballs back into our sockets and talk about this drama.  This is a great drama where to men die and decided to jump out of the train to Heaven.  God gives them a couple of months to fix their lives as other people.    One of the men Kim In Kwon, is a short man, nothing spectacular about him – workaholic, who comes back as a real tall, buff eye-catcher (Rain).  The other a mobster boxing champion turned chef (Kim Su Ro) turns into a woman (Oh Yeon Seo) who thinks she just as tuff as her former self, still in love with the same woman after death.  I found this drama funny, heartbreaking and full of excitement. Kim In …

Dee -The Simple Woman’s Daybook

http://thesimplewoman.blogspot.com/ For Today… Today, I will give all things over to God the father.  As I rush through each day, hoping I will accomplish all that is needed in the marketing of my novel, I will give my concerns and desires over to God.  His mighty hand will take me where he wills… Outside My Window… As I look out my window I see the barn that houses my horses, keeping them dry.  Water cascading over rocks -plummeting deep into our woods after a day of rain.  The fields to our east are covered with olive and shamrock green grass, brilliant by the suns glow.  The giant poplar, walnut, and oak trees to our North, South and West are enhanced by the array of bumblebee yellow, coconut white and orchid flowers nestled within their confines. I Am Thinking… Here is this old woman, once a bitter girl -determined to never allow anyone entrance to my heart, my trust, my love.  Now, I live to give all that I can to others -determined to love all of mankind.  I know I …

Living Illusions, craving truth

Originally posted on In Through A Coloured Lens:
Living Illusions, Craving Truth BY PAT-ANGELLA We are, most of us anyway, under an illusion that our life is our own. Yet, what evidence is there is to support this presumtion? We are informed — and ignorance contributes to this — to take ownership of an intangible something which we could not in any way possess. We do not possess life. Rather we are possessed by life. We say life, or vie, or vida… . Whatever the language, there is a sound we make that represents this thing we call life. My life. Your life. There really is no such thing. Here is the evidence: Who among us writes the story of how his or her life will be such that the life specifically follows that script? Who is it that writes his own path, step for step; the roadmap of a life laid out exactly and then followed exactly? If you exist, show yourself. Tell the rest of us what we have been missing. It takes a lifetime to know…

Virtue Signaling

Originally posted on See, there's this thing called biology…:
“Virtue signaling” for those who don’t know, is a political phrase coined to describe those who care, so, so much, they are virtuous. If you’ve ever been in a political debate and someone suddenly declares, “I’m a vegan, I don’t eat animals, do you eat animals?” That is called virtue signaling. It’s an idea that suggests I’m right because I’m a good person with high moral standards, while you are just politically incorrect and want to kill puppies. In a faith-based context it is similar to works  before grace, that I am justified because of my own innate goodness and ability to care about all the right things. I am so, so good and I will prove it every day by dashing about and supporting all the right causes. Women can be especially vulnerable to virtue signaling, in part due to our design. I like to say, we are more likely to see the beauty in ugly dogs, bad men, and sticky children. That’s partially…

Foreign Drama -Moorim School

Moorim School 16 episodes 2016 Exciting day -two of my favs are in this drama.  Lee Hyun Woo and Hongbin (VIXX) Hyun Woo has been acting since he was just a kid.  He’s earned the title of a ‘hot pick’ in my eyes.  Everything character he portrays is believable and compelling. Hongbin sings with one of my favorite Kpop bands -VIXX.  This is only his second production -but he was truly good.  His love for Soon Duk (Seo Yi Ji), is moving, adorable and cute (a bit on the childish side at first, but that is part of his cuteness). Seo Yi Ji is a great little actress, who was mightier than most female characters I watch in Korean dramas.  I liked her spunk and power. Jeong Eu Gene also did a fabulous job. Each of the characters mentioned above gave themselves to their performance, taking an average plot and making it something special.  Was it my favorite drama -no, as I like a show that pulls me in much deeper then this drama did.  …
