Just Jot It January 16

Just Jot It January 16th – What #SoCS   Jot – What? My hearing keeps getting worse, so this is a word I use frequently.  The feeling of constantly stepping closer to someone, and repeatedly saying, “What?” is utterly humbling. One day, I will have to get hearing aides.  Then, I won’t be able to have them in, as the family talks on their cell phones.  Will I ever be able to hear?  I don’t think so, because someone is always on a phone.  Ugh! My family is so sick of me saying “what?” they just stop trying.  Once I start -they stop.  I guess, if you don’t get it the first time -it wasn’t worth hearing. When my dad stopped hearing well, he began sleeping most of the time.  The TV couldn’t be turned up loud enough, for him to enjoy it.  He loved TV.  I do too!  If I’m not writing -it is my escape -or a great book.
